Proposal for fake MBp release date

As everyone knows, more and more people have been getting impatient and asking when MBP will be released. I say, we need to add an event in the calendar and announce the fake release date (just to settle people down from being so impatient and asking questions). If we decide to do this, I say make it maybe June or July or sometime we assume will be after the probable release date.

How does that sound?

This is a good idea and the actual release date is only an estimate as well. The best estimate is June/July too. I think the final release date might even only be in september if we're really slowed down.

Give them 1st October or September, but note it might end up as the actual release date. Reason the fact it's so far awar because we have school/university which means that we cannot give to MBP out full attention, but we do work on it as much as we can.

However, it would be up to phil to decide but he's not here so I guess I need to make decisions

Yeah, I like this idea, too. I'm getting tired of people bothering us with that question, because so many people are creating useless threads in the process, which wastes forum space.

Lol, I kinda like knowing about this little white lie we're going to tell. I feel kinda guilty, too.

well they keep complaining but if they think about it MBG took a while and it was with staff with no shool and no university and had like aot of knowledge in there area.

Yeah if I was getting paid I would have all the coding done like last year. Also they had Tourge which made everything much easier.

A fake release date will make everyone get heaps excited, but then that'd make people feel sad afterwards...
But you're right PF how you said that people are becoming impatient about the release.

We could just say MBP, coming in June* where * = date is subject to change.

Then in June if we're not finished, announce that we need more time to make the game even better and polish it up.
In June, we could post a few screenshots etc. so they won't be disappointed.

Cool idea

Maybe in the Vid of MBP I'm making with Phil's permision. It could have Coming June 2007 and we won't tell them the only way to find out is by watching it.
