What happened to GarageGames? was created by Josep_Nollette
Last night, while lamenting the absence of any full walkthroughs of a GarageGames game (GarageGame?) titled TubeTwist* on YouTube, I began pondering on another GarageGame titled Orbz. So I tried to look up the game, and one of the search results was a forum post on the GarageGames website.
www.garagegames.com/community/forums/viewthread/133234
I clicked on it, and it returned a 404 error.
So then I narrowed the URL bar down to simply www.garagegames.com , and it said this:

GarageGames would like to thank you for the many years of game development and fellowship.

What happened? Did GG close its doors or something?

(*I'm thinking of purchasing TubeTwist on Big Fish Games and doing my own walkthrough, but that's another story.)

Yep, you got it right. Doors are closed now unless something completely out of the blue causes them to open again.

I believe someone on the Discord was talking about Orbz a year or so ago. I believe a version of the game was also dropped in there somewhere, if you're interested.
