I have begun to learn HTML! Running my forum has taught me a lot, and something big it's taught me was to learn HTML. So, I decided to look into it a bit more, and start to understand it!

I began with the simplest things: Learning the HTML Tags. Kind of like UBBC, except HTML uses these signs instead: < and >. For example, bold would be like this in HTML: <b>Tech Warrior</b>

Then, after learning tags like bold, underline, emphasis (as HTML calls it), marquee, all the text modifying stuff, I started to learn tables. I've learned a few important tags, such as <br/>, which is what starts a new line. I also learned how to input pictures, links, and pictures as links into tables too!

I plan to set forth learning this language, as it can be very valuable!

I love you, but your attitude is like that of a shrew. Your options? Take a pill or be my kill. Might I suggest that you wear a vest. Perish in class or be banished to the land of bluegrass, where dreams don't exist as you'll be eternally pissed.

Definitely continue. You do know that a line break is <br>, not <br/>, right?

As for how I made tables, we used <br/>...

It depends on the html doctype. Transitional (I think it is) allows either, but Strict makes you close the tag so you do <br /> or <br/>.

Also Tech, I suggest you learn CSS at the same time so you can learn to use CSS to style your elements without abusing old HTML features. HTML is really only meant to markup the text for later styling and formatting.
