17th birthday
Hey y'all - I'm back with another new blog! It was my birthday today, although everyone will probably be reading this tomorrow, when it's not my birthday .
Presents
I only asked for one thing: Logic Pro X, which I am going to be using to make music and stuff. I have used the software before as part of one of my courses at college, and I really love it for music-making. I actually got 3 £50 iTunes vouchers to redeem myself, so I got to click on something expensive!! Yay
Also got some Green & Blacks chocolate - a big Tasting Collection with 25 bars. Yum.
The Day
So, after lunch, I went out to the nearest shopping centre and used a Waterstones voucher from a bit ago (in fact - I got this at a concert I played at in a village hall, and another 5 performers were also there. It was very enjoyable and I got to keep in touch with some of them and have met them all before too which was nice) to buy some books, one of them being Shakespeare's The Tempest, which has interested me for a while. I also got a new wallet which is made to look like a Gameboy cos Nintendo nostalgia FTW .
For tea, I went out to a local Indian restaurant with the fam and had a gorgeous curry. Then came back home for a bit of family gaming and now I've come to write it all up.
In short, I had a really nice day not doing too much, and I've started doing some stuff on Logic Pro X - including the mock-up of an orchestral piece I am writing - to be revealed in a future blog....
Hope you all enjoyed reading
