[ANNOUNCEMENT] I'm on SoundCloud!

It has been a while. Like, how is everyone doing haha?? A levels take up so much time

I just wanted to tell everybody that I am now on SoundCloud! I never got to share any of my music with anybody, due to not having the time AND the fact that my laptop, containing all my files, committed suicide after its battery could take no more. . I've uploaded some *improvisations* as I need to ask people for permission about other recordings - but I would love to share them with you!!

For musicians and producers: I pitch shift all my recordings to a particular frequency known for its healing properties - this is nothing spooky or New Agey, this is a tuning system that contains frequencies that are *scientifically proven* to heal you mentally and physically. And this amazing frequency is A=444 Hz. This can be reached by pitching A=440 Hz up by roughly 15.667 cents. Coldplay used it in A Rush of Blood to the Head (probably being unaware of how good it is) if you want to hear an example. It has a lovely bright sound, but it doesn't actually sound unnatural. Give it a go!

Morning Walk is NOT an improvisation, it's a composition. As is Lilac Lake. I just wanted to upload some improvs cos I thought it might be more interesting for me to see what people think of it.

I didn't read into them too much... Although if it sets off the skeptic alarm bells, it's you who's being skeptical.

Yeah, I don't like the chakra business or some of the other stuff... that's not the reason why I use it. As I say, it does have certain resonant properties, but I just couldn't really find the right sources online. But you could always research it yourself, and I will also try to find something.

Pretty impressive, i though all of these where someone else's artworks but dang, that's really good for improvisation.
Im more of a opera guy myself so I won't really find use for this music in my playlist, but keep up the good work.

Well, it's not quite the same.. As long as I keep it in capitals with 'Music' on the end I'm fine. I got my friend to check this out for me and there's no one else with exactly 'EvokeMusic'. And I agree - a lot of musical things happen on this forum!

I seem to be having problems with uploading my recording of Bach's Partita no. 6 on SoundCloud - it thinks I'm infringing copyright because of someone else's recording of it being so similar to mine!! What do I do?
