Hi! I was bored and I downloaded Bawl Physics a while ago, so I decided to make a Marble Blast game!

This Demo includes 10 Tutorial Levels, 2 Power-Ups, and 3 types of Marbles.

This game runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux. If there are any glitches or anything, let me know. I hope you Enjoy! :) (Sorry I couldn't make this a file :( )

Anyways, this game was really cool. I liked how there were different marble colors that affected gameplay, and I really hope you do more with them in the full version. My main gripes are A. The lack of a time saving system B. The way the speed booster works and C. The fact that you disabled jumping on the friction tutorial level. Other than those few things, this mod is great!

EDIT: I noticed a few levels in the game files that seem to not be loading. The file names are: level11, level11.resS, level12, and level12.resS.

EDIT 2:

Windows Download: Click!
Windows 64Bit Download: Click!
Mac Download: Click!
Linux Download: Click!

In my opinion you should switch those links out with the dropbox ones. Most people would rather download from dropbox than from 4Shared.

EDIT 3: Made a compilation, should be up and working at about 1:00 AM EST.

This mod actually looks really cool! Judging only from the video, I would agree with all of MBCollector's points. I would absolutely second the no jumping on friction levels - he only mentioned the tutorial one, but if I'm right does the 'Material Forest' level disable jumping too??

Material Forest is the tutorial one. The other no jumping level (green day) is fine, but I just can't understand why Material Forest has jumping disabled. I'm guessing it was just a mistake.

I didn't really want people just jumping over all of the Materials, but I will change it to the Blue Marble in future releases :)

If I'm correct, I don't think you get sued for using something for non-commercial use. (Non-commercial as in free of charge.)

Not actually true, but the people who own it have to go through a lot of trouble (read: money) to sue so they usually won't if you don't have a lot of money to give them.

Anyway looks kinda interesting. File size is huge for what seems like a small number of levels though, can you compress anything further?

MBUn is 532.1 MB, and MB Platinum is 1.81 GB. So, MBUn is 0.5321 GB. There is one unused level, but it isn't in the game. :S

Almost, except MB Platinum comes with about 1000 levels (if you include copies, around 600 if you don't) in 426MB vs MBUn's 15 in 532MB. I'm just arguing semantics at this point though, seems like you're making some good progress so don't let me hold you back :)

Okay, I'm gonna do what TIB (Testing Initiative ball) did. So, on a scale of 1-10, how good was the game? (1 - Garbage, 10 - Awesome!) Should I make new sounds, add a "Finish Here" sign, or add any new mechanics? (Sorry I didn't post this sooner :( )

Yeah! I just made a new level and (recently on the News Page ) I updated the graphics. Hopefully it'll be out soon.
