Hey guys!

I was just wondering what you all are thinking for the upcoming MBP update that HiGuy and myself have been programming. I want to know what you think is going to be in MBP. I will not tell you if you are right or wrong, or if you are even close. I am just curious to see your thoughts, and let others bounce their thoughts to hopefully guess right! Think of it as a forum game to pass the time while MBP's newest patch is being developed. Matan leaked to you guys a couple of things, such as the 2nd milestone and the Platinum Origins Thread that were written by him, so use that as your starting point.

This thread should be a little more...mature than the PQ WHERe thread because it allows for discussion and free thought of what may end up being in MBP instead of just shouting GIVE ME LE PQ NOAA.

So go ahead, post away, I am very interested to start seeing some thoughts!

Keep blasting everybody, and remember, MBP, not PQ

-Best times on Custom levels can be saved, just like official levels
-The Features on MBP 1.20 for Mac
-Improved interface (more elegant one)
-New music that bring you some energy to keep playing levels.
-New OOB Messages.

My thoughts..
Removed funny OBB messages or disabled by default and can be added by complicated pref editing. (I remember matan was talking about removing them once because theire discouraging)
No new music
Background image changing or something
Bugfixes with custom level score data not saving or something...
some GUI changes
Unhackable LB's
And PF's marble removed

Worst case scenario: modified game so that if you change any default sounds or shapes, LB's kick you out...

Otherwise looking forward to see what goodies mac users got...

,rec cappability in Lederboards (sorry if this is already available)
The ability to pick and chose background images (like your own Marble Blast Desktop[with out changing the files, but instead uploading them])

Thoughts:
~ Should have better interior/texture tracking, or a visible message box w/list if certain resources couldn't be found.
~ Ability to make groups of levels, so you can make a list of your favorite levels.
~ Ability to import levels.
~ Linking levels, say, if it's part of a level pack.
~ More (official) levels??
~ Importing times locally (might already do this on install).
~ Spying on other's times.
~ Searching levels by author/difficulty.
~ Working MotD.
~ Working game. If the next update doesn't work, I'll cry.
~ Keep the OOB messages, my older sister enjoys them.
~ All those LB features. *realizes that there are two different versions to deal with here*
~ ... *refreshing ideas*

- Reload level / Automatic .rec recording option
- The orange color will remain
- What Pro Marbler said
- MBG levels in MBP fixed so they are identical to MBG levels in MBG (they should not have been changed in the first place), in the sense that any path and run possible in an MBG level is possible to be identically copied in the MBP version, and vice versa
- Easter Eggs and Ultimate Times in the MBG levels in MBP
- The ability to add your own custom marbles in-game
- The ability to add custom textures, skyboxes, and music in-game

Both are possible on MBP. Just add marble skin/shape in marble/custom_marbles same for marble/data/sound and marble/data/interiors Obnly thing that will tke effect in LB's though is sound .

~ Actual multiplayer this time around.
~ How about Co-op levels? Wouldn't that be fun?
~ Moving platforms shouldn't be so difficult to understand, as in select an interior or something and set a path for it to move.
~You should be able to fill set areas with water.
~Easter eggs mean something to you when you collect them.
~Any custom level can be played in MP/LB
~Built-in custom level database. You have to complete the level to submit it.
~Option to change everything to have the MBG names.
~After you beat or leave a custom level, start it back up on the next or same level.
~Lastly, be able to select your default marble, so you can properly play levels like The Moon or Drunken Marble with all of the effects on gravity. (Default marble's name should be the same as MBG's marble name basically.)

I have lots more I want to say but I don't want to go overboard!

Unless jeff will hack MB again.. I don't see much difference in installing custom marbles as to instal custom levels.. But i would like to see some handy MB level installer program that instals level from folder (loacates files and stuff)

Hopefulyl jeff wont kill me* We played arround co-op and race mode ideas (we had some actual code halfway i dev) in PR (project revolution) but we (jeff) decided to drop both of them so its a very poor chance we will ever see MBMultiplayer racemode ... >_> I won't go into detail about reasons why because Ive spoiled too much...

Impossible since its totally engine side thing (we don't have proper water in first place.. only flat meshes) unless hax.

Id say it would be a bit bad because some levels in MB were built to be unfinishable and just for fun so submitting those would be pain.. otherwise agree.
