I was wrong about what i said earlier to you weather. The rules were correct. 'if a third party (you) wishes to PLAN a match with a player who is already in a planned match, whichever match comes first takes priority'

So it was OK for lee to play his match with jack. I don't know what went on otherwise though.

Rung limit for challenges has been expanded from 2 to 4. This is a test, it may be readjusted to 3 in the near future if the reception is negative.

We did BCR, Ziggurat and Marbleland, the last match being 121-69. I don't remember the other scores.
Turk had to leave and couldn't complete the challenge. :c

Bad luck, it's bound to happen - we used /random. Which doesn't seem to be rigged. Just an unfortunate pick..

Lee (challenger) vs Eguy (defender), April 15th.
This match has some moments that are WELL worth a write-up, so let's make this detailed. :D

Sacred: 123-120 Eguy (1-0)

Lee started off by completely hammering Eguy as he made some dumb first-match mistakes like blasting into walls, failed jumps, everything of the sort. Lee showed a quite respectable knowledge of spawn abuses during this time. Down by 30, Eguy was still well aware that tons of blues and clumpy spawns could erase a lead well before a match is at its closing point. So he chased Lee back to a tie with some solid blues and overall cleaner play. This match was an absolute deadheat for the rest of the time but Eguy just came out on top. But he learned an important lesson -- this match is not a good pick as the first MB of the day.

Lupus: 120-96 Eguy (2-0)

Eguy had gotten plenty warmed up by this one, however -- it started off close but some solid plats and blues helped him to a runaway victory.

Marble City: 117-116 Lee (2-1)

My, my. This was a major confidence boost for Lee; even right off the bat did Lee get a first blue, and another, and another blue, ensuring for the first half that Eguy would not come within single digits of Lee. Early in the second half, Lee took a blue STRAIGHT FROM UNDER EGUY'S MEGA, making it 3-0 on blues, which would be so at the end. Eguy started to wake up quite a bit by the 2 minute mark, however, picking up reds and yellows with hasty tension, and climbing back into his first lead, by 5 points. This was extremely close but when about 30 seconds left Lee went the wrong way (according to Frosty) and Eguy was up by 8. But then, Lee started to come back amazingly, and Eguy relaxed thinking he had it, which cost him big time -- with a single second left, Lee pushed it to 116-116, and Eguy sailed straight past two reds that he was perfectly lined up for, and Lee took a red with about 0.1s left. I guess you can call this payback for Eguy's 3-0 capping, 2 point victory on Playground against Lee in 2015.

Horizon: 125-105 Eguy (3-1)

After lots of drama in the chat as Lee deliberated for a full 10 minutes before settling on a map (originally randomizing NSR), he settled on Horizon reluctantly, his 2nd best map and one on which Eguy is undefeated in all-time league and tournament play (I'm almost certain). Of course flukes happen, but it began to seem that Eguy was beginning to know this map extremely well and has recently felt confident to take a lead on it whenever he felt like doing so. Lee snagged most of the early blues but Eguy absolutely pwned the reds, and started up with an early 15-pt lead. To Lee's credit, he managed to find a hot streak and pushed it back to a really close game. It remained this way for a while, but Eguy seemed calm and collected, and some clutch late blues (including one right in front of him) sealed it late and he found his great new characteristic Horizon surge.

Great games to Lee!! Hopefully you didn't have too much of a headache after those map choices and close games :P

April 16th 2017 on Frostfire's server

Macstr0yer (Defender) vs MikeSan (Challenger) Again.

Warm-up on Sprawl, picked by Frostfire - Macstr0yer wins 171-94
1. Bowl - Macstr0yer wins 116-60
2. Basic Agility Course - MikeSan wins 109-86
3. Epicenter - MikeSan wins 117-115
4. Tilo - Macstr0yer wins 100-94
5. Spires - Macstr0yer wins 94-37

Final score:
Macstr0yer wins 3-2

Shortly saying: man, was I stressed out. :P

First off: I picked Bowl. I think there isn't much to say about that. Not even a single blue gem spawned this time...

Exactly the opposite happened on Mike's pick, BAC. He got a lot of them which helped him take the lead and win with fair ease. Same goes for my pick, Epicenter, except the margin was very narrow.

Mike's second pick, Tilo was a very close match too. He got yet another bunch of blue gems (3-0), but I managed to collect enough yellows (26-11?) to win the match, again with a narrow margin.

Spires wasn't as exciting, actually. Even though I destroyed him there, the map could've been just a lucky random pick...
Great game nonetheless. ;)

The one match per day rule has been revoked, you may now play an unlimited number (may set a ceiling in the near future, after seeing how things go here).
