Random Short Levels 2

Hi everyone, this is my first ever HD video that I'm putting out for you guys to enjoy.
Recently, with great help from Matan, I managed to get Camtasia and I'm able to create HD videos. I'm very happy and I decided to release some clips of me doing speedruns on various custom levels. I've done far a lot more than this video so you can expect to see more custom levels speedruns from me.

Epic runs. I totally called an upsidedown finish and the level after it is extremely familiar, I can't remember what it is. I do recall in the past everyone kept trying to get the WR on it (that was the route) and I recall Pascal beating all of us, but I can't remember which level it is

Well I was following the trend of playing VOCcubes' levels and this one is his latest. (I think he made it just yesterday). I saw Mosquashi's post claiming he got a 11.98. I played the level, first doubting it, then I found the two TM behind the wall and 'ding!' I found this path.

Eliminatives Over the Rainbow (2:51.73s)

Yes, I'm back with videos again. This is mainly due to the summer holiday I'm having so that I have plenty of time to play and record videos, oh well.

Anyway, I'm here to shock you with this speedrun I have on this insanely hard but very interesting level....by Pascal!
This is literally the newest level from him and has definitely won my attention over it. This level, fortunately, didn't come to me as a very frustrating one, but a fairly hard one that interested me quite greatly. Nonetheless, I figured out how to beat each part of the level, with Pascal helping me by a couple of tweaks in the gravity section.
Before I went on a stop with this level, I had 2:57.XX. Then, I picked this level up again a few days ago and tried to get lower. I remembered Pascal saying that he had 2:52.XX (or was it 2:51.XX?) and by that time I could only get 2:56.XX. After careful analysis of the level, I know that he couldn't have tweaks at the late 1/2 part of the level, obviously. So what I'm thinking is that he could get to the 'launch' one cycle faster than me. I tested it and found that a cycle takes accurately 4 secs, which is our difference. So I quickly focused on the first bit of the level, and quickly found his method to get it.

Awesome run on an epic level.

MB Emerald: Emerald Tower (2.65s)

The mighty run has finally come after a huge delay. This is because my old comp has some unknown problems that caused MBE to lag vigorously when recording with FRAPS.

Anyway, this run was done in the beginning of the month but wasn't undisclosed until now. I promised to make a sub-3s video of this level so you now get to see it.

Regarding this level, wow. This was literally the last officlal MBE level that I played, but obviously because it is the last one. I quickly formed a good path on the ground for collect the TTs. I also made a nice path for the ascension and I did sub-20. I tried to make improvements and do tweaks that instantly got me sub-10, and later sub-5. By then I knew that having the timer stopped until finish is possible, but I had to find more tweaks. After watching Alex's rampage, I realized I was doing something silly, where the tornado throws you up to the trapdoors. I used to hesitate on the trapdoors instead of directly going back down, dunno why I didn't think of that. I also implemented my last tweak at ~1:10 where the multiple wall-hits are. I used to bounce on the 'ground' first instead of one platform above, because I previously didn't think bouncing on the first floor and still rebound two floors up is still possible, leave alone I thought getting to the first floor was hard. Nonetheless, proved that it was possible and easy.

My personal best TM catch was 2.62, but you know I'm not going to bother it, 2.65 is good enough.

This kind of blows my WR of 52.19 out of the water...

BTW best TM catch 2.53, a few times. It is faster to jump off of the start pad platform, rather than roll. If you cut it really close to the edge it is less distance, and you can catch the TM sooner. Too bad I can't do the rest of the run

Empyrean Entanglement, Collection Conundrum, The Long Way Around - MBP (9.25s, 52.39s, 36.73s)

After 2 years without any videos, I'm now presenting you with a nice compilation consisting of 3 Leaf's levels. I'm inspired to do them because recently Leaf released a new level called Collection Kings 5 years after his previous level, and I just love playing his levels very much. I did want to record a run of that level really, but unfortunately I didn't form a good enough path for it since my pathfinding skills aren't as great as before, and Nihahhat just made an awesome vid for it.

Anyway, I decided to do some of his older levels instead. Here's what I have to say about the runs:

Empyrean Entanglement: The path is mainly from Oaky, except I picked up one more TM in the first part that allowed me to get a lower time than his and in fact getting sub-10. There's also one more TM that I didn't get in the second part, but that really doesn't affect the final time, so I just ignored it. Sub-9 should be possible with better execution around the edges.

Collection Conundrum: Lol, this is actually my third time uploading a run of this level to YouTube. I couldn't get sub-1 minute in the first two and I was really frustrated. Anyway, glad that I found some great tweaks for the level and finally made it.

The Long Way Around - MBP: The structure of the path is from Oaky, although I managed to find a bunch of tweaks that made my path pretty different from his. Landing on the two tightropes is harder than it looks, and it really pissed me off when I had a shitty rebound from it, because if that's the case I would fail like 99% of the time. Fortunately, I managed to get a new best TM catch in this run and actually finished the whole level.
