Marble Blast Levels: 25

I'm back with another Levels compilation! This one features four levels, but it has enough content as it has a Gem Madness level done 100% and an interesting Hunt level that you'll see why it's interesting! The runs on two Bonus PQ levels shown were done a while ago. Enjoy!

Marble Blast Levels: 26

After doing many PQ custom levels, I think it's an excellent time to do a compilation!

Commentary:

Triple Trail - This Gem Hunt level may be the trickiest to get the Ultimate Score as you would need good gem spawns. I did beat the Ultimate Score with a score of 161 months ago, which also beats the Awesome Score, but the .rrec 'broke'. The run shown here was the second time I beat the Ultimate Score and have it recorded this time!

Arctic Inferno - A very fun level! In previous versions of PQ, I had to directly record as there were glitches with the Fire blast/ice shards when playing the .rrec. Currently in PQ, I think the glitch has been resolved.

Evolution - I did make a couple mistakes in the later part of the run, especially when it comes to the annoying part with the nukes and magnets, but I managed to beat its Ultimate Time!

Fading Stunts - I did miss the Time Travel, so this run could have been improved by a few seconds.

Obstacle Run - The propellers were kinda annoying to deal with as they affected my control of the marble. Good thing this level is a quota level.

Pathfinding Ingenuity - Very creative pathfinding level.

Pesky - No wonder this level was called "Pesky". The chaos flat blocks throw me off, so jumping can be helpful here. The Gold Time was very fair.

Physics Course - When I first played this level, I was really lost on how to play it. This level was not so bad to do well on it.

Precise Angles - Short and sweet level to play on!

Press Garden - A very cool level with lots of scenery! The 2D part did took me a while to do well on.

Slant - None.

Hydropower - 7th Awesome Time/Score I achieved out of all the official/bonus PQ levels, and this happens to be my favorite Gem Madness level for its theme/scenery. I think of this path as the easier version of Battlecube's path with few variations, and it is nice that you don't need to achieve 100% to beat its Awesome Score. And the track "Unwritten" does fit the length and showcase of run really well!

Winterfest 2017

Winter is here, and it brings you winter-themed multiplayer levels all month long! Here are six Gem levels that were beaten under the Frozen Time! The lags I had experience with the server were quite a pain to deal with, and the blooper at the end of this compilation clearly shows how bad the lag was. Enjoy!

Marble Blast Levels: 27

It's been over a month since my last MBL compilation, so I thought I would end this year with another MBL compilation featuring more runs on PlatinumQuest levels! Be sure to watch until the end!

Notes:
El Titiritero - Although this may be the shortest level in PQ to speed run, it took me several times to beat its AT; I was very determined to accomplish this!

Camera Woes - Right after I got the Nest Egg on Side Stroller, which as the unlock requirement of the latter, I played this level. While this level may be easy, the unlock requirement was very difficult to achieve. I followed Rosie's strategy, which took me several times until I got it. I wish I could have a recording on my successful attempt of getting Side Stroller's Nest Egg.

Corner Conquest - I tried to follow Battlecube314's path on Corner Conquest, but I end up making path changes on my run.

Scrum at the Spires - This level was very confusing when I first played it, but after watching videos on it, I did similar paths to it.

Music: Duality - Dimrain47

Marble Blast Levels: 28

Here are three PQ levels that I beat the Ultimate Times on today! I now have only ten more Ultimate Times to beat - 8 Puzzle Levels and 2 short yet very tricky 2D Bonus levels! I know that those levels are going to be really difficult to accomplish the UT, and I know it is possible!

Notes:

Jumper - I really have to adjust controlling my marble based on its different jump impulse. The most annoying part for me is one with the floating gems/hazards, so I have to look up and time my jump to get the gems/time travel I needed. It took me numerous attempts to beat the UT as I tried different orders of gem collection, but I use this order that helps be get the UT.

Perseverance - This probably took over 30 minutes to get this run. I managed to overcome the tornados, but I kept failing on getting the Time Travel on top of the orange walls on the first lap as I would lose balance, fall off after rebound, or fall behind from the platform. This is my first successful attempt on getting that Time Travel!

Minute Minute - This is Battlecube314's path from PlatinumQuest: Compilation 1. There are some flaws in this run, but I managed to get a sub-5 minute run!

Music:
Combo Breaker Japan by Waterflame
Can't Sleep by Waterflame

Countdown to Ultimateness #10 [Puzzle 4 - Four Corners (24.516)]

It's time to countdown to Ultimateness! This level marks the 129th Ultimate Time/Score I beat! The biggest challenge for me was to control my marble from ice as when you can't control the marble's movement with the movement keys. What pestered me during my attempts was when I ended up missing the grass tiles by a small bit after rebounding the walls and going OOB when trying to go behind the finish pad so that I could use the Super Speed to reach it. Fun fact: I never jumped throughout this run. Now I have nine UT's left to beat!

Which UT's do you still have to beat?

Puzzle 5 wasn't that bad.
Puzzle 6 was really dumb to path-find, so it can die.
Puzzle 7 was somewhat dumb.
Puzzle 8 is quite wonky, but the UT isn't too bad once you get a feel for controlling your marble in the middle.
Puzzle 9 was also pretty dumb to path-find.
Puzzle 10 was awful to do.
Puzzle 11's UT can be beaten by doing the intended path very quickly.
7-1X: White Noise simply requires a clean run.
Sacred Ground - B1 also requires a clean run. I don't think anything special is needed.

Countdown to Ultimateness #9 [Puzzle 11 - Nightmare (2:02.588)]

I decided to take on the excellent and evil finale of the infamous Puzzle series! I later decided to do the path shown on Battlecube's first run on this level. It didn't take that long for me to successfully do this path under the Ultimate Time. You just have to be super quick or you'll fall through those fading platforms. I now have eight more to go! Can I make it?

Nice stuff. This is also the intended route for this level and its PT/UT.

Marble Blast Levels: 29

This compilation can be considered a mixed bag as it features a MBG Gold Level playable on the Leaderboards, an achievement on a PQ level, an improved run on a PQ hunt level, and a very interesting PQ custom level!

Schuhmacher Fly - Waterflame
Super-Duper - F-777

Marble Blast Levels: 30 (Ralph's PQ Custom Level Pack Edition)

Another Marble Blast Levels compilation already? Since Ralph released his long awaited pack of custom levels, I decided to take them a spin, and I found them exciting to play with! Enjoy!

Comments:
Blazing Margherita - A fun level inspired by Pizzanator.
Blocker Invasion - This level used to annoy me a lot until I learn how to time my movements to stay on course.
Brushing the Bouncy - I don’t use a mouse to control the camera, so it’s tricky to move the camera while pressing on the trackpad to monitor the bubble usage.
East Peasy Street - The level is as easy as it sounds.
Ground Minus One - The end was the most annoying part of this level as when I use the Super Speed to do a wall-hit, I sometimes don’t get enough height to reach the finish.
Narrow Fields - In my previous attempts, I came close to beating its UT, but I didn’t realize there was a Time Travel behind the checkpoint. Now I was able to beat the UT!
Rain Forest - A forest themed Sky High Circuit level that is very hard to beat its UT as it really requires a lot of speed while avoiding the hazards.
The Fourth Floor - The cannon part near the end took some time to get used to.
The Night Falls - Inspired by Evaporation, I learn how to time to jump onto platforms in this level.
Want some Windmills? - This level was a breeze.

Music:
Mars from Holst: The Planets
Uranus from Holst: The Planets

Marble Blast Levels: 30.1?

Well after watching Rosie's video on Ralph's PQ Custom Levels, I realized that there's a lot of room for improvement on my runs, so I decided to improve on most of the levels. It turns that I beat more Awesome Times than I did on MBL: 30 to from 3 to 9 out of 10 of them! The most frustrating run was Brushing the Bouncy as there's a lot of timing on controlling the bubble movement. Those runs were done about a month ago, so enjoy!

Marble Blast Levels: 31

It's been a while since my last actual release of these type of videos. Since I haven't really played the custom levels on the Leaderboards that much, I decided to see how many levels I could beat with my current skill level. Here are some of my favorite runs! Of course that last run could've been done better, and I may improve it sometime. Enjoy!

Soundtracks used (thanks to MBP WRR #3 for showing me these):
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 'Transistor' [Radio] by Beatdrop
Cinematic Hybrid Music by NCM Epic Music Ender Guney
Rock Thing by Creo (youtube channel Free Vibes)

Huygens' Dilemma (27.174)

A level from BlastedMarble, this level is quite a short 'n sweet course, that it's easy to follow, I beat the Ultimate Time within 6 minutes. Let's see how further can this be improved...

Daedal Helix (1:57.221) and The Ultimate Friction Challenge (3:19.204)!

A few years ago, I had beaten the Ultimate Time on both Daedal Helix and The Ultimate Friction Challenge, even before MBP 1.50, which introduced the checkpoint respawn by pressing the key! I have not made videos on them, so it really is time to show how I do it! Enjoy!

PlatinumQuest Nest Egg Compilation

After watching Battlecube314's PQ Complete Nest Egg Guide, I now collected more nest eggs than before, and I have five left to go! So here are some my favorite levels on collecting the Nest Eggs; some of these challenges were quite difficult such as Bag of Secrets... because of the 100% requirement under the Par Time. This video was edited by someone (can you guess who (s)he is?). Hug thanks to that someone for editing the video for me!

Songs:

Sing for Absolution - Muse
Viva La Vida - Coldplay
April Rain - Delain
Prepare for the End - Tarek Mansur

Cookies WTF

When going through levels for my upcoming Marble Blast Levels: 32, I got a great run on Cookies, but I replayed the .rrec, things went awry! It seems to me that the .rrec files fail to play to completion at least for this level and on some Gem Hunt Levels in PlatinumQuest. For those who do not know about me, I usually record runs on levels using the in-game recording system, so that I can replay those using screen recording software and edit those clips in iMovie. For those of you who directly screen records, I can see why you would do so. So this level is now excluded from MBL: 32 since I couldn't get run that's just as great.

Track used: Colony 6 ~Future~

Hunt Madness: 1

Yesterday on Discord, Doomblah came up with this proposal, "Honestly I think singleplayer hunt levels should just be converted to Gem Madness levels," and after HiGuy gave us those console commands to play Hunt levels as Gem Madness levels, this gave me an interesting idea for a brand new Marble Blast Series - introducing the Hunt Madness Series! The compilations in this series feature PlatinumQuest Gem Hunt levels played in Gem Madness Mode. This will bring interesting new paths, and since there isn't a start pad in all of those levels except for Citadel, your starting spawn will be random. As you'll see in this compilation, some levels have hundreds of gems that would be impossible to collect them all in the duration of this level similar to Arctic Inferno. I hope you enjoy this first compilation for this all-new series!

Tracks:
Different Heaven - Nekozilla
Elektronomia - Sky High
Electronomia - Energy
Elektronomia & JJD - Free

Marble Blast Levels: 39

Today's my birthday, and I'm turning 24! As a birthday present to myself, here are ten levels in this next episode - five from Evil's Mini Mod and five custom levels!

Notes:
Blue Twist - None
Up - I like how I get the Time Travel above the high-friction slope as well as the 7th gem. I still need to figure out how to get the Time Travel after launching from the tornado.
Rigid - One of my favorite runs out of all the levels from this mod.
Sloppy Bounce Test - I was aiming to get the Time Travel after Super-Bouncing from the gem, but I still need to figure out how to get it. Still, I really enjoyed this level.
An advanced finale - This level was quite frustrating because of the tornado and the mines. I hiccuped on the part with the fans when reaching for the gems.
2019 - Loop exits to the max!
Frost Ravine - I figured out how to fix the checkpoint trigger error. Maybe I'll show you a tutorial on how to fix it.
Inuksuk - None
Slope Streak - The first part of the level was quite tough as I needed the right amount of height to get to the upper level.
Time Flier - This level was quite confusing at first because of the custom gyrocopter duration as the marble would still be in flying mode even when it didn't show the gyrocopter.
