Tightropes IMO are okay to have in mods as long as you don't over due them. I mean, c'mon, they give a good challenge if they're used correctly. Look at Catwalks from MBP. It used tightropes in a few interesting ways... However, I do still think that level overused tightropes WAY too much.

But anyways, this isn't about MBP. It's about MBE. Bottom line from me, I do enjoy having a little bit of every gameplay element, and that includes tightropes.

EDIT: (Ninja'd by Riblet) Just a note to Ian: The 'Next' button didn't crash at all for me, and I'm using Windows XP...

I love you, but your attitude is like that of a shrew. Your options? Take a pill or be my kill. Might I suggest that you wear a vest. Perish in class or be banished to the land of bluegrass, where dreams don't exist as you'll be eternally pissed.

Tech, it might just be the ignition version that crashes the game

No, non-ignition crashed for me.

Hello all! I have found 2 Secret dialects.

first was jeffs.

second was ian's.

I won't share where they're at. Jeff gave me a hint for his, but Ian's I actually knew kinda . It was a darn good guess.

I can't find Higuy's though.

Good hunting all!

edit: I beat every level but emerald tower

Not the part where the tornado leads you to the trapdoor staircase. I cannot get past that.

I saved the superjump from the beginning and used it plus the red bounce platform to pass the trapdoors entirely.

I see this coming from you one more time I'll give you a warning. Stop commenting so much. We got it.

The fact this wasn't as an announcement when it should have been is stupid Congrats to MBE!

Not gonna go into a review about MBE, but there is something that drives me absolutely crazy about the level select, and I think it needs to be fixed. When you exit a level (either by finishing it, or exiting through the pause menu) the level select returns to the last unlocked level in the category. Fine when you play through the levels for the first time, then extremely frustrating. Especially in the custom levels. Now IDK why, I don't remember this behavior in MBG (don't have a copy installed to check though). MBP certainly doesn't behave this way. It should go to the next level if you beat the one you are playing, and stay the same if you exit the level without winning. Makes much more sense.

I told the MBE staff about that like 1 or 2 weeks before final release. I noticed it as well. I guess they couldn't get to fixing that issue. Kinda bugged me as well.

The swirly stairs jump code is reset after a restart of the level. Pretty annoying.

Edit: It's also annoying how it unlocks the next two levels after beating a level instead of just the next one.

I had that too, after I used the LE to find a finish pad, and completing the level (getting the cheater message) then restarting the game and completing the level again

Ah, that would explain how I missed half the levels after playing through them in order for the first time.

The revert to final qualified level on the select screen definitely needs to be fixed, it's ridiculously not fun to scroll all the way through when playing back through the levels. I never made it very far in the custom tab because they're all unlocked by default and I got annoyed with scrolling.

I can confirm that all problems mentioned above are present here.

Anyway, now how do you get past the first little-wall-hit-and-then-edge-hit part in Challenge of Complexity? (without edge-hitting, it's way over my skills ) It's the last level I gotta beat here.

And Framework I's Emerald time is sooo easy, I got it the first time I finished the level, and I was searching for emeralds...

Most of these issues we've never heard of. We will look into them after some progress with MBE2 has been made. We really will make a patch fix sometime within the month.

It would be nice if the patch had an installer to go with it, but I don't think you guys have a server.

You don't need server to make instaler. You only need program that makes instaler or write it by yourself but you must consider that that kinda programs costs money.

If you have a compiler like me (fresh off the press) then it's not too much to worry about, right? Sorry, I mean to say, how much coding does it take? I'm going to guess a lot.

Lol, am pretty sure I made a post about this in the WR topic of MBE, according to PF, there was an SJ that got remov-oh sorry MEGA JUMP (MJ *Michael Jackson*)-removed from the level which was originally there, otherwise, a sub 4.75 catch and doing an EH that keeps you on the level is rather something ummm...not fun.
