Looking great so far. Seeing a lot of new clever ideas in Quaternion that no one else has seen before.
Thanks for letting me test. :)

I've just downloaded the demo and scanned it via VirusTotal.com incase I got a false download and the antivirus "AegisLab" told me it had "Troj.Crypt.Xpack!c" in it. This is just a false report caused by the engine modifying game files?

Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection doesn't have any issue with it, so yeah, I'd say it's a false positive.

I thought quaternion was just gunna be another dead mod all this time, and that only small pieces of work had/were going to be done on it. So this was a pleasant surprise! The 'ive spawned in a futuristic world with no instructions' thing was seriously cool, and the graphics and triggers complimented it perfectly. It took me a minute to figure out how to use the blast but after that it was incredibly fun. The puzzle style was awesome - I hope the whole game is planned similarly. It was a refreshing break from speedrunning levels, and each challenge was unique in its own way. The second to last challenge was great, and once I figured out what to do on the last one with the buzzsaws, it was still challenging.

Only complaint is the physics were weird. I expect that was intentional, but if so maybe have the marble not bounce at all after jumping? Idk, the inability to do wallhits/always natural bouncing was kinda irksome, when combined with other things that I could do normally.

Avira doesn't like it either:

I saw in the chat that it was due to the graphics extender, but it seems to have thrown up a code red on the executable itself (assuming that marbleblast_ex.exe is the executable). I'm not sure if I can trust this.

I built the same marbleblast_ex.exe and have been running it for months without problems. I suspect this may have something to do with the fact that it's been altered to accept custom engine hacks? I would ask Derpking about it.

Looks like a few scanners detect it as potential malware, using heuristics. Chances are the extender looks fishy to them so it's classified as malware. Nothing else I've used picks it up though and it shouldn't be an issue. Mac build (wineskin wrapper) eta: son.

Mac release is in the first post. Please note that you may have to start the application twice for it to run. Also, it's a very large program. These issues will be resolved in the full version of the game.

On the mac version, it says that I can't run it. So after changing the permissions, I launched it and nothing happened. How can I fix this?

Try running it again. I think HiGuy mentioned an issue where you have to run the game twice.

Show package contents -> drive_c/Program Files/QuaternionDemo/

It's a windows exe so run it with WinE or CrossOver. That's what that bundle is supposed to do, but I guess it's not working in your case.

Insanely good job. The only thing that disagrees with me is how the outlines look:
Warning: Spoiler!

Is it supposed to look like this, or is it just my computer?

The outlines aren't supposed to look like that. Not to worry; the shader system will be totally revamped in the full version. Until then, you can press P to disable them.

Awesome mod, but some of the puzzles were too difficult to solve. The one with the lazer and the bells...
Warning: Spoiler!
Another picture for a hint would be nice. Also, in the puzzle with the lazer walls and the number...
Warning: Spoiler!
Otherwise, it was really cool!!!!
