That is correct. The DedalusTech.com website uses a universal account that will grant you access to the MBF Beta section of the website should your account be upgraded to the Beta User status.

As much as I'd love to show you what we're working on, I cannot key you folks in on anything we're cooking until it's stable and in a working format.

I will tell you that we're hard at work with several new UI and Gameplay mechanics, as well as graphical and environment detail (including new music).

We've also been designing a new website format, and that should be going live in a few weeks with a few new trailers for MBF.

Lastly - To give everyone a general idea of where the mod stands, we're roughly past the 65% complete mark. I'll update this thread when new public announcements are ready

People have school (and finals), as well as jobs, girlfriends, life and WoW (although the last two are complete contradictions of each other, in that case it's true). A mod for MBG, to which they see no profit from, receives the least amount of attentions.

That said, there is progress internally, but whenever they will be ready for community updates, they will do so.

So this doesn't happen again, use this general rule that can be applied to all mods:

DON'T INQUIRE ABOUT MODS AT ALL UNLESS YOU GET DIRECT NEWS FROM THE DEVELOPERS!

Assume a mod is still alive until the contrary is explicitly stated. If a mod truly is dead and the developers have been too lazy to tell anyone, then just deal with it!

No offense, but that's a dumb rule. What marbleking posted wasn't out of line. Sure it was an Ultra Mega Bumb, but that's okay in this case. This is MBF's topic, bumping it to ask about MBF is NOT out of line. At all.

If he had created a new topic to ask, or if he had been pestering and spamming this one to get info it wouldn't be okay, but he just asked about MBF one time in MBF's topic.

It's up to MBF staff to decide to give an answer or not, or whatever, but there's nothing wrong with asking in the first place.

I wouldn't be upset if the same exact question hasn't already been asked a million other times about a million other mods.

And people respond with the same exact replies saying you're just going to have to wait every time (see Matan's reply). He chose to be polite, I didn't; sorry.

I don't like posting things like this because all it really does is create spam and animosity, but sometimes I just want to be proactive in preventing future spam. Perhaps it doesn't work, but I try.

I still wonder why all dead mod developers dont release finished stuff like MB9 did. They said mod is dead and i still dont understand why and didnt released anithing. In other hand we have few dead mods that released everythig like MB reloaded MBA.
I guess its because they dont want anibody to copy stuff or codes and put them in their mods.

So... if you don't hear anything, don't ask. If you don't hear anything, assume the mod is alive. Unless the mod is actually dead, in which case you'll never know because you're not allowed to ask about it.

And to prevent further inqueries, the mod is still alive, and yes Matan, all of your stated factors are taken into play, but remember there's more than just me working on the mod.

A bunch of my developers and I have been focusing lately on releasing a new version of the DedalusTech website, that should be going live sometime mid-February.

As soon as the new site comes into place, you can expect to see a mountain of information regarding Marble Blast Fubar. The new trailer will blow your mind..as some of your fellow forum members already know through private conversations with me.
