Time Capsule #15 - 2024 Predictions

Another year has come and gone, and wow what a year it was! Certainly one of the years of all time. But the time for the Marble Blast Community's yearly tradition of predicting what will happen for the next year is here (a little late, sorry; thank you Chris!).

You probably know how this works by now but in case you don't: Leave your predictions for 2024 in a reply to this thread, the capsule will close on January 22nd three weeks from now and you won't be able to see or change them until next year! What do you think is going to happen? In your own lives, the Marble Blast Community, or the wider world, make your predictions about anything you like.

This last year I definitely put some distance between me and Marble Blast. I'm focusing on my real life a lot more now and I think I'm better for it. I don't see myself leaving this community anytime soon, if ever, but maybe I play the game a lot less going forward? Maybe my hardcore speedrunning days are behind me. I'm definitely not never playing the game again though, don't worry, I still need to beat all of Pack 8! I have a couple other ideas for levels to play, if only I can find the time and effort. Okay, time for predictions. I'm gonna keep it relatively simple this year.

Marble Blast:
- Marble Blast Gold World Record Rampage #6 will release.
- Despair will remain unbeaten.
- I will get 5 new PBs.
- Let's be ambitious again. One of those 5 PBs will be a World Record.

Personal:
- I will read more than 12 books (one per month). Bonus points for more than last year, 18.
- Reverse psychology! I will NOT get my driver's license this year!
- I will graduate from Oregon State University in June.
- I will get accepted to graduate school for a Masters' in Counseling Psychology program. I care not where all that much (I do, but not for this prediction).

MB predictions:
1. No new WRRs during this year
2. I will finally participate competitively in the summer tournament and get a noticeable place
3. Also i will build a couple of new cool levels :kappa:
4. We will get 1 or 2 new community members who will increase their playing skills very fast
5. PQ gets better

IRL predictions:
1. I finish university and get a joj
2. I put more effort into art than computer games
3. I will become more social, go outside and touch some grass (and land that skateboard trick i failed to do this summer kekw)
4. Putin gets """elected""" again and kills Navalny
5. I get better at english

- PQ still here, more levels but no major features
- PQ gets a serious attempt at a rewrite by the OpenMBU guys
- Play more MBU than i do PQ
- For that matter, play more Minecraft than any MB game
- Finish DOS2 run, start BG3 run (this is just the plan, not even a prediction)
- Don't finish the BG3 run yet
- Still watching NL regularly
- Strongarm my landlord into not raising the rent again and still in the same place
- No covid, but still working on my health
- DEFCON is actually just a disaster and NI fall apart
- Work is still happening and TAs are decent but not fantastic
- Some other big work change happens
- See jeff in person again, maybe twice
- Hike some good mountains
- Finally get to see my college friends again

I got a few things in mind, most likely prioritising my real life than this place, but I hope exist here in some way:

+ MB related Predictions

• I get back into content creating in some form, upload a few videos, make a few streams.
  
• Related to that, begin working on that big project, plan out my whole structure and look for sources.
  
• Big hundo, nothing too ambiguous, that's related to the content creating bit.
  
• Return to my rightful place, 69th on the overall leaderboard.
  
• Create a level, not an interior stitched level, an actual level.
  
• Maybe learn TorqueScript just to familiarise myself with PlatinumQuest? No plans to get fully on-board with that, just enough where I can understand it and somewhat contribute, contractor type shit. It would be an interesting thing to do during the summer.
  
• Still the best marbler in the world baby.

+ Real Life related Predictions

• Continue to progress through uni, had a bump this year but I intend on trying to come back.
  
• Get in shape, stay alive, pretty self-explanatory. I've been on a downhill battle with my health compared to last year, I hope I can go out of my way to be a lot more health conscious this year.
  
• Progress through that other school Im on, potentially acquire my first gig before the start of next year.
  
• Just try to be more creative, I've had a stump with my artistic side because of uni, and I wanna try to pick up the pace there.
  
• Develop my first game? That's way too ambiguous with everything I have in front of me right now, but who knows.
  
• Create my first song? That seems more feasible than creating a game. Hell, that would HELP me with game development if anything.

2024 Predictions:
Marble Blast:
-Multiplayer revisions either take all year to decide on, or nobody cares and the first round of revisions just winds up being final
-If the latter does happen, the same people that said nothing will complain that all the maps suck and are bad. Just mark this as yellow if not applicable unless you have a better idea
-If people do care, then everyone swarms in right at the end again just like everything else
-Someone gets a new WR on Despair
-2.10 either doesn't release yet or it just has nothing
-Nobody winds up joining CGL 12 so it can never start
-noby is active again?
-Enzone continues to not show up for anniversary events and such
-Jean continues hosting holiday tournaments and maybe branches out to some crazier stuff than just "oh wow this tournament isn't hunt! isn't that nuts!"
-I fix more stuff and add more things but it still takes ages to add
-Someone other than Randomity gains the ability to push updates
-More super duper custom code masterpieces like PQube (not counting Keppy's gmod level(s) or mode or whatever, that's already being shown off)
-Labor Day Madness goes soft. Last year was all A-Game's new stuff and we don't have too many cool ideas for what to do this year.
-I still won't even start trying to get a colored name
-We will play another game of Cards Against Humanity at some point this year
Video Games:

-I hate to be that guy. I don't want to seem like SuperDweebus 9001. But... A new Nintendo console or model for the Switch releases
-always gotta predict a new mario kart
-always gotta predict a new mario baseball (again, it probably sucks ass because all the mario sports games over the last few years have)
-always gotta predict a new banjo-kazooie, almost definitely just a remake
-No entirely new towers (including heroes) next year for Bloons. Just paragons, skins, and maybe some new bosses
-Modding support for Bloons (more likely this time, it's in their looking forward section. I remember seeing the "Spirit Walker" there too after Beast Handler released and we got that before the end of the year)
-Bloons Monkey City 2, bitch! Bloons Monkey City 2!
Life:
-I drink assloads of egg nog again during the holiday season
-Maybe I get into modding more games than just Marble Blast? It'll never make as much of an impression as it does here, but I still have plenty of ideas for Isaac, Bloons, Mario Kart, and maybe more.
-I actually learn how to use Blender for modelling (and possibly actually use it for something too?)
-I can hope for lower gas prices in 2025 (for the record, for whoever predicted people wouldn't make predictions outside of 2024, this is a 2024 prediction. I predict that, in 2024, I'll be able to hope for lower gas prices next year, in 2025)
-Another Kahoot at secret santa!

Marble Communities
Despair's World Record is not beaten on Marble Blast Platinum.
The first World Record Rampage for STOP DeluXe releases. +1 more if it's before Summer 2024 ends (Northern Hemisphere).
STOP DeluXe continues to get more recognition alongside OpenMBU and MBG's Web Port.
No new big cheaters in speed running are found/exposed.
A new and complete modification releases this year.
The source code for the MBG engine is still undiscovered.
A new moderator is appointed (Dom and Thearst3rd don't count).
This web site breaks again.
Nobody here makes predictions about other mods (or edits their posts to make any), while still only talking about the official games and the de-facto fan mods MBP/PQ
Pack #9 gets released (hopefully I understand how these work now)
Bowl-O-Rama is found and re-released.
Someone finds a way to really break a Marble Blast game (not just for them, but for everybody else) through custom code.
Five new colored names in the main server. Five new colored names in the STOPX server.
The forums are still not revived/used frequently as they should be.
I only come back (after leaving on January 4) in Summer 2024, before moving onto broader horizons after the BEST Time Rampage for STOP DeluXe is released. (Coming back in 2025 to figure out if my predictions are right are wrong do not count - but I also still remember to not make a new capsule post in 2025.)

Myself
I sell every single part from my parts Corvette fully
I am still working as an event host at my church
After a long, willing hiatus from dating, I restore my IRL confidence and mingle with new people.
I decide to supercharge my C6 Grand Sport **AND** put the exhaust system from the parts car onto my C6 GS
...But not before making a major repair to my C6. I suspect my ECBM/Steering Rack connections/the actual modules have gone bad. Dreading the possibility of replacing all of that first.
I put away, sell, and never take out any of my video games again except for PoGO, STOPX, and Mario Sunshine II (see "Misc")
Pokémon GO is the ONLY game I play frequently/the most as of 2024 (so other games cannot be more than 1 week, just to give balance)
I read a whole bunch of books. Let's say 40 this year (last year it was 20, so I'm getting better at reading consistently again!)
Biking, ping-pong, pickleball are the three outside activities I do most outside of PoGO, and I lose weight/regain a good build from all that.
My nephew says his first word in April 2024. My nephew learns to walk in September 2024.
I repaint and redesign my office.
I get a summer internship somewhere relating to applied behavior analysis or psychology.
I continue to keep my 3.5 overall in University.
I successfully learn Spanish and American Sign Language in one whole year.
Apply and get accepted to study abroad in Sussex.
Nobody I know dies this year.
I further advertise my small business in landscaping/gardening, and it actually goes somewhere.
I start a very small business - EITHER - involving cleaning houses, making cheese sandwiches, or detailing cars.
I part ways with several friends for the sake of bettering my mental health/keeping it in check.
I see three of my on-line friends in real life - Falkrim, Minty, and SayItInRed.
I actually come back to GOODBLOX for a limited time chat as I said I would back in 2023.
I get tremendously better at coding - HTML, Java, C#/C++, SQL, Python, and writing engines. More confident than I ever have been.
I start to lose/misplace items less often, in terms of short-term memory concerns.
My obliviousness/literalness lessens considerably, and my overall mental process improves.
Feeling less alone and sad, actually feeling like I am surrounded by a good caring team of people outside of family who support me for who I am, don't try to control/change me, don't put me down for minor things, and encourage me to keep on fighting.

Around the World
The Supreme Court of the United States allows Trump to stay on the ballots, but Trump still does not win 2024.
There is a new medication that I discovered on the news for diabetes. It's called Ozempic. It's not going to go well - and actually, eventually, gets banned in the United States.
Putin is once again, unfortunately, re-elected and havoc continues to wreak across Russia and Ukraine.
Elon Musk has a public meltdown, with something major happening to Twitter - whether it be a complete shutdown, a re-sell, or another revamp. Bonuses depending on how many outcomes are stacked up.
The Tesla Cyber Truck, despite being in production, somehow keeps failing to sell well/continues to have major problems.
ChatGPT/AI gets shut down.
Super Mario Sunshine 2 gets announced and/or comes out. (I'm not giving up on this, even if some sort of "full-scale modification" comes out.)
For whatever reason, sequels of pop culture movies come out, but they turn out to be musicals. (Please no.)
Squid Game gets a sequel. It's going to be terrible, and it will not do well.
A hurricane will pass through the United States, extending beyond the East Coast.
Tavarish finishes his McLaren project car. (Yes, the one from the Florida hurricane that got flooded.)
There will be severe confrontations with China, either involving Taiwan, the United States, or both.
The climate around the world continues to be dry, hot, and worse, leaving Earth more dry and warm than ever before.
Inflation continues to moderate and become less worse.
Sniper Wolf is finally terminated from YouTube.
And finally, my darkest prediction: Biden falls ill, and responsibilities as president are passed to Kamala Harris for a little while.

Pokémon GO Goals and Predictions
A sound effect for encountering Shiny Pokémon finally gets implemented.
Shiny Rotom, Manaphy/Phione, and Arceus make their 2024 debuts. (You can't hide them forever, Niantic!)
The overall quality of life for the game improves, and Niantic does better at listening to their community after seven years of failing to do so properly.
GO Fest 2024 - Mega Mewtwo releases, and the live event occurs in St. Louis this year.
I reach Level 50.
I capture 300,000 Pokémon. +1 more if I capture 400,000 Pokémon.
I get ten new Platinum medals.
Like Routes and Party Mode, another "big" feature releases in the game and it is a total flop/very unpopular.
#HearUsNiantic resumes for something completely different.
Niantic accidentally releases two new Pokémon and take them back from players.
I start and consistently keep up writing a blog on current PoGO issues and bugs (every month, probably)
A couple more AR features in PoGO are removed (hopefully this isn't going to happen, but they have been trigger-happy in the last couple years).
There's a huge cheating scandal for the PVP finals of 2024, or some other big drama.

Oh boy, it's been a long time. It's good to be back at this, so here goes.

Might have to do more changes later, but right now, I think it's a good list.

MB Predictions:
- I will actually release my Fusion Expansion Pack this year hopefully.
- Assuming we get new MP levels this year, Duplex will be picked against me and I will lose that specific match because of it.
- I will make more levels, specifically more LE levels. (Nostalgia trip )
- Let's up the heat regarding tournaments: I will make it into the finals this year.
- At least one old New Team PQ developer will become active again this year.
- A big name returns to the community this year.

Real-life Predictions:
- I will pass my Baccalaureate exam with at least an 8.5 overall grade.
- Subsequently, I will manage to enter the University of Bucharest, in the Faculty of Geography.
- I will get into at least one relationship irl this year.
- I will join a political party in Romania - bonus point if it's USR.
- The party and candidates I will vote for in this year's elections will end up getting a better-than-expected result.

Unrealistic Predictions (Marb + IRL):
- We will manage to get the rights to the Marble Blast Franchise.
- Matan decides to visit the Community Server to see what we've been up to.
- I will get on HRT either as soon as I move to Bucharest or after a few months of moving to Bucharest.
- Subsequently, I will change my legal name to Connie.
- I will meet an MB Community Member.
- Marble Blast Fubar comes back online.
- Subsequently, it will be managed by the current PQ Team.

Aaaand that's about it I think

MB Predictions:

-MBG WRR6 will be released.
-Despair will remain unbeatable.
-I will finish all the leaderboards custom pack and redo of my runs in the Leaderboards.
-After I finish all LB Custom levels, I will reach 180M rating.
-An old member in the community will come back.
-I will get at least 30 WRs in one year

Life/Other Predictions:

-Stay single for the rest of my life
-My dad will stop drinking Coca Cola to improve his heart health
-I will visit at least 3 provinces in one year
-My 33 year old OFW female cousin from Singapore will get married this year
-Learn how to cook/bake again
-I will add at least 60+ new songs from the 1950's-2000's in my list in a year

Balls

- 130m general rating
- Complete all custom levels (for real this time)
- 100/139 PQ ATs
- WR on Maximo Center
- PB on Despair

Not Balls

- Start a side hustle
- Get a new PC
- Exercise more often and improve diet
- Pick up piano again and learn a few songs
- Play 10 games I've never played before
- Be less lazy

1. 130M+ rating
- Aiming pretty high mostly cuz once the MBG rampage finishes up, I imagine it'll be back to customs for me alongside PQ. I don't know if I'll try-hard the remaining customs I have left to beat unless I really enjoy a level

2. 45+ Total WRs
- Not sure if this is too little, but recent years tell me this is a reasonable goal to hit

3. Have 9 or more singleplayer gem hunt WRs
- I have 7 currently, I don't really get too many throughout a given year so let's see if this is attainable at all

4. 35M+ PQ rating
- It's doable if I really focus on it

5. Have 5 WRs or more for MBG WRR 6
- Now that 3FM is done, I have a few more levels I wanna tackle, anything more is a bonus IMO

6. Finish packs 4 and 5 at least
- As long as I don't become autistic and try hard every level, I'm good

7. Have at least 1 WR for the Web Port Mini rampage (MBGR levels)
- I have a level in mind, no I'm not telling, figure it out

8. I try out Marble Skies
- I've had it sitting in my Steam library for years, I need to at least give it a try

9. Make my first level
- I just barely started one late last year, now that I have a solid idea of what I wanna make the motivation should be easier to come by in theory.

Not Balls
1. Learn to cook/make a few things for myself
- I know some things, but I need to learn more lest I spend too much on Uber Eats or something

2. Get at least a B in every course in my first two semesters back in college
- I might get pretty busy during the year since I decided I wanted to go back to college. Hoping I don't regret this

3. Make a few new friends in college
- Only have one friend that I actively talk to from college, more absolutely doesn't hurt

4. Play at least one of these games sitting in my Steam Library: Celeste, Hollow Knight, Trackmania
- Can't be a marble gamer forever

5. Get Silver 2 in Overwatch with the Damage role
- I got placed in silver 5 initially and got demoted to bronze 1 recently, I need to get better and climb out of that hellhole

6. New phone
- My phone looks like it was imported to some 3rd world country for some bum to use, need to change that

Marbles

1. I get 100% PQ Awesome Times this year (cmon I'm pretty close don't let me down future me!!)
2. I finish and release PQ RTA Speedrun mode, at least 3 people submit runs to speedrun.com using it
3. I learn how to use blender and make a custom level (either for marble blast or my godot engine game)
4. I start playing through leaderboard customs and make it through the first 3 packs
5. The community holds two rating races (that mbu one was fun so I hope so)
6. Someone gets their first world record this year
7. OpenMBU gets leaderboards (plz!!)
8. MIUU ghosts get fixed (plz!!!)

Marblesn't

1. Why not, I get some PBs in Superliminal and bonus points if I get sub 22
2. I finally get the stuff needed to mod my switch and I set up SMO hide and seek with friends
3. FEZ gets a level editor and people make some custom levels
4. My girlfriend and I move into a different apartment. Lookin out for condos but probably not this year
5. Nintendo announces a new console. Would be cool

A lot of these would be great if they happened, and many are up to me to make them happen so lets go have a kick ass 2024 marblers!!!

I don’t see myself playing nearly as much MB this year as last year, since I have other things in my life which will likely take up much of my time. I think 2024 will be a big IRL year for me. However, I don’t think I’ll stop playing anytime soon, and I still have many things I want to achieve in MB. Besides, I’ve predicted playing less in previous years and I’ve been wrong every time, so who knows.

Personal MB predictions
* I will be 5th place in overall rating at the end of the year.
* I will have at least 175 million overall rating at the end of the year.
* I will achieve at least one world record that I deem to be good (a sufficiently good WR on a Pack 8 level could count). Bonus point if it’s on an official level.
* I will post at least 4 videos on my YouTube channel.
* My total time online will be 4100±100 hours.
* I will reach top 5 in MBU and/or PQ rating. Bonus point if both.
* I will maintain top 10 all categories and top 30 all levels.
Community MB predictions
* Two people will achieve 100% Awesomeness in PQ.
* Two people will achieve their first world records.
* MBG WRR 6 will be released. No other official rampages will be released.
* The MBGR Webport Rampage will be released. The STOPX Rampage will be released. At least one other unofficial rampage will be released.
* Despair WR will not be beaten. A big 5 WR will be beaten.
* Someone will beat my WR in PQ any%.
Non-MB predictions
* I will still be employed at the end of the year in the same job I have right now.
* I will be happy with my level of fitness at the end of the year. Bonus point if 100 mile bike ride.
* I will visit at least one state in the USA that I haven’t visited before.
* I will devote significant time to (re-)learning an area of mathematics I haven’t truly mastered yet.

As I'm transitioning from high school to uni this calendar year, my time for MB will be quite a bit limited. However, I still enjoy the game a lot and will for a long time, so I'll be playing as much as it is possible. 2024 is a year where no expectations are set to prevent disappointment. A lot of goals, a lot of predictions, here we go.

Marble blast gamignos:
- I will reach 160M+ this year in rating, hopefully more.
- I will finalize all 100 levels in original MBG at a high level.
- I will find a new breakthrough and get on top between the best.
- Top 5 in custom, has to be done, will be done.
- I'll finally achieve a proper traplaunch world record.
- All PQ ATs will be done.

Community gamignos:
- No Despair WR, damn it!
- MBG WRR 6 will arrive.
- 5 new super talented players will arrive and breakout into the scene of speedrunning.
- One person's YouTube video will absolutely break the algorithm.
- Multiplayer will see a new prime level and meta strategy.

No balls stuff:
- I'll be an electrician.
- I'll visit more Slavic countries.
- I'll elevate my gym rat traits.
- 1st prediction which is bold as hell, but I'll meet someone from the community.
- 2nd prediction which is also ultra bold, and that is finding a love of my life.

No political garbage or anything will be found here, just some regular predictions. 2024 is hopefully going to be better than 2023, at least a little bit. I hope all of you also experience a good year. That's about it really. This is the one and only crackball guy timing out.

I think this is the first time I have written one of these…

Rolling
- I will get 100 million on the rating without getting all the UTs in MBP
- I will finish all the PQ awesome times
- I’ll get a few world records
- I’ll get a top 10 time on around half of all the leaderboard custom levels
- MBG WRR6 will come out and a new MBU rampage will be announced
- Half Pipe Elite (MBU) will remain tied

No Rolling
- I’ll complete Cataclysm in Geometry Dash
- I’ll get decent at the game Celeste
- Play lots of new platformers and Just Cause 3
- Play and finish Black Mesa
- I’ll write some music and publish it
- I might write a novel
- (NEW) MLG humour will return in an ironic form.

Marble Blast Predictions (not gonna be ambitious):
- MBG WRR6 releases
- I won't be in the Top 20 in general ranking
- Despair New WR
- Get a new WR
- I'll release MBC 10
- Complete Pack 8
- 140 mil general rating

IRL Predictions:
- Relationship
- Move out
- Either new job or position
- Feeling more confident under my own skin (haven't been able to express true self for the past few years)
- Keep at regular bike riding, gives a sense of freedom some days

Misc Predictions:
- Top 1 NZ in osu!ctb
- Participate in 3 osu! tournaments
- osu! sees new Top 1 player
- Stream more often as well working on the Auroenia channel (daily MB vids)
- Try a new speed game, can't stick with MB forever
- Build a custom keyboard, current one is crying out for help

Here's to a great 2024, MB Community

Marble Blast:
- Significantly less time playing, possibly to an extent where I can consider myself finishing with the game.
- ... but still getting through the video projects I want to get done.
- I would be surprised if I release more than one level.
- Continue to write the Constructor guide, maybe even to the point where I can consider it effectively complete.
- Something revolutionary comes up on the development side of things that either brings a fascinating new feature or wonderfully cleans up a bunch of the near-broken code.

Personal:
- Continuing to learn and study Italian autonomously, skip first-year classes and start on the second-year track in the fall.
- Way too much spent on apartment decor.
- Never find the urge to start regularly going to the gym, but still not in horribly bad shape.
- Cooking skills get drastically better, eating habits do not.
- Have a healthy and consistent sleep schedule.
- Put in the effort to improve my handwriting. Might even brave cursive over print?
- Write and produce more music since I'm actually taking classes to hone in those skills.
- After at least five years of never picking up and finishing a book, I'll read ten by the end of December.
- Toning down on frequency of being inebriated in both common manners; far less in social settings and very limited to private company.
- Exploring the outdoors far more through my girlfriend's family, and taking a lot of really nice pictures to store memories. Getting really good at that too.

I’ve decided to tone down my expectations this year, as I'm aiming for a perfect score next year.

- A scammer will call me in an attempt to get my credit card info, not realizing that they had just fallen into a scam by me, wherein I will manage to obtain access to their Starbucks account.
- While I don’t easily succumb to peer pressure, someone “special” will successfully coerce me to attend a networking event which will turn out to be a warehouse party at a church in Skid Row.
- I have zero business in Fargo, North Dakota, yet I will end up here at some point after getting fired from a project, so that I can make the most of my anticipated depression regarding said event.
- Four different rabbits will accept carrots from me, however at least one of those carrots will be purple, and one of those rabbits will be high on edibles.
- A stranger will invite me to a birthday party somewhere in Brazil, and I’ll go out of respect for the dancers.
- I will find out that someone I used to know from church youth camp is now making bank on OnlyFans by doing “missionary work” if you know what I mean.
- My fuckery with film producers will elevate by getting one to invest in my short film off the record, then using that investment to pay for his own divorce, which will turn out to be the entire premise of the film starring his soon-to-be-ex-wife as the lead.
- Three of an estimated five expected encounters with flat-earthers will result in a one-night stand just so I can say things like “I traveled halfway around the world to see you,” or “I can’t wait to take advantage of your disabled parking permit.”
- For shits and giggles, I’ll hire an actor to chase me around Los Angeles dressed as a goldfish to show that fisheye lenses are to be avoided.
- I won’t know that I’ve signed up to do an adult entertainment shoot, but I also won’t say no to the paycheck when offered.
- Of the three different insurance company representatives who will notice that I’m not interested in their bullshit, one of them will invite me out to dinner.
- I no longer own a car, yet somehow, I will end up involved in a high-speed police chase involving a foal and a magic wand.
- A brown bear will at first want to attack me, but then it will see my ex and run away as I once did.
- I will visit a mostly burned down abandoned building and take it upon myself to finish the job.
- I will successfully crash a private mansion party without getting caught.
- I’ll beat my roommate at Exploding Kittens.
- I’ll make a snow angel on Mount Everest.

I just really hope that Fubar comes back into mainstream production. DAMN YOU TO HELL AARYL FOR MAKING US WAIT!!!

- My Tornado Bowl record will be beaten
- MBG WRR 6 will release
- MB Fubar won't be back up and running
- Someone will start a new mod and it will fail miserably
- Jiquor returns to complete MBStop 2
- Another speedrunner will genuinely retire and hang up the keyboard and mouse

Personal
- My hurling club will win Lancashire county and All Britain champs, we'll fall short in the All Ireland
- Lancashire will (finally win) the Lory Meagher Cup, against Cavan in Croke Park
- Kilkenny will win the All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship
- Kerry will win the All Ireland Senior Football Championship
- Kilkenny will win the All Ireland Senior Camogie Championship
- Kerry will win the All Ireland Senior Ladies Football Championship
- Scotland will at least get to an All Britain semi final in Gaelic Football
- Oban Camanachd will win the Macaulay Cup and Camanachd Cup in Shinty
- I'll finally get a well paid job that I actually like and want to keep going to
- I will improve my mental and physical health as well as improving my looks

* Xedron, Battlecube314, and Xelna will remain in the top 3 by the end of this year.
* MBG Reloaded Mini Rampage will be released in the community channel in early February
* MBG WRR 6 will be released in late March or early April (the official deadline for WR submissions has been announced)
* Another WRR will be announced, but we won't see the release until 2025.
* We'll see at least three uploads in the community channel (a WR counts as one).
* Despair WR will remain unbeaten
* One or two people will achieve 100% Awesome Times in PQ
* We'll see at least two levels for the Platinum Coniferum released.
* We won't see the Intermediate Levels for Nockess' MBG Reloaded released this year.

Marble Blast Personal Predictions
* I'll beat just one new Ultimate Time in the official MBP levels, and I won't touch that section for the time being.
* I'll beat at least three new Awesome Times in PQ.
* I'll achieve at least 75% of the Ultimate Times in the MBP Director's Cut section.
* I'll beat at least six levels in the Leaderboard's Custom Packs overall with five remaining left.
* I'll achieve at least 400 Platinum Times in the Leaderboard's Custom Packs.
* I'll achieve at least 160 Ultimate Times in the Leaderboard's Custom Packs.
* I'm improve my total rating to at least 105 million points.
* I'm maintain my overall ranking (#43 or higher) by the end of 2024.
* I'll release at least 10 Marble Blast Levels episodes.
* I'll release at least two Easter Egg videos.
* I'll continue to seldomly contribute when it comes to developing changes for PQ.
* I won't be participating in the Summer Multiplayer event.

Apple Predictions
* Vision Pro will received initial mixed reviews at launch. Apple will also release a short product introduction video, similar to what it did with the iPad models introduced in October 2022 and the M2 Pro/Max MacBook Pros.
* Apple will release a new color (I hope it'll be Product Red) for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro at the spring Apple event.
* Apple will debut the M2 iPad Air (10.9" and new 12.9" option), M3 iPad Pro (with OLED), and M3 MacBook Air/Mac mini at the spring Apple event.
* Apple will introduce iOS 18, iPadOS 18, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, macOS 15, and visionOS at WWDC 2024.
* Apple will also debut the updated Mac Studio with M3 Max/Ultra and Mac Pro with M3 Ultra at WWDC 2024.
