MBF Time Capsule 7 :: 2016 Predictions

I may have unburied Tracey's Time Capsule. I'm sure she wouldn't mind if we add our own stuff to hers, right?

Off to a good start:

• Fubar will release this year (check)
• MBP EOL will happen, people will still suggest new features, and I will happily turn them down
• MBP EOL will happen, Matan will still suggest new features, and I'll have to do them
• I'll finally finish Webchat 2.0 and everyone will be really happy with how well it works
• Kalle will get a job life better place to spend his money even bigger server for tsuf
• Jeff might actually, finally, (shocker!) release something
• Jeff and I will go through at least 3 more scripting languages
• I'll have to convince Jeff, at least once, to not switch physics libraries
• Jeff will make me spend hours trying to debug what amounts to missing a } at the end of a method
• We'll hit over 200 issues on the PQ issue tracker
• Every level Matan makes for PQ will require custom code. Even the bonus ones (yes I'm looking at you, puzzle 10)
• I may actually make one or two reasonable levels for PQ... no idea
• I might, actually, maybe, finally reach level 50 on TagPro; no promises on this
• I'll probably break 1,000 posts, and the 1,000th will be something extraordinarily lame.
• Matan will forget to unbury the time capsule again and I will bug him for the whole year
• The forums will hit 3000 members (4000 stretch goal) with ~70 (100 stretch) active daily

On a slightly different subject:

• Hopefully, I will actually make some money programming this year
• Going to get into college... somewhere. This one is almost a given
• I will continue to not care much about school (except math classes, those are fun)
• Jeff will probably badger me to meet him again until I finally agree; and then when we meet he'll be too shy to say anything
• I might meet Aayrl again at some point. Considering crashing a certain event of his.

Darn it, HiGuy beat me to it.

• Quaternion will not be released.
• I will have at least 300 posts.
• I will have finally made a YouTube channel.
• No-one will have bought the rights to Marble Blast.
• I will have moved to a new house.
• I will have made an "official" logo for myself that will still bother me a tiny, but loud bit.
• I will have thought yet again about both copyright and creative commons, and still will have trouble understanding pretty much everything to do with it.
• I will have thought of at least one new expectation to write down after this is buried.
• I will have forgotten to write down at least 20 new ideas that were totally worth remembering.
• The internet will still be trash.
• At least 1000 new trash softwares (adware, spyware, totally pointless stuff like toolbars, blah blah blah...) will be released.
• Something BIG will happen.
• Happy Roll will become more active.
• The chances of a nuclear explosion will increase.
• Animusic 3 will be released.
• I will gain 20 watchers on DeviantArt. (Currently 3... like at the time of writing this.)
• BdoubleO100 will play Marble Blast Platinum.
• I will still be listening to Animusic.
• I will still be obsessed with fonts, and will make my own.
• Inkscape version 1.0 will be released.
• The forums will be updated to a much better software.
• The forums will reach 6000 messages.
• Custom level pack 3 will not be released.
• We will still be forced to use Constructor or QuArK. AAARRRGGHHH!!
• The main Marble Blast forums logo will be changed.
• I will make two more event variants of my avatar.
• Level up on drawing skillz.
• I will learn how to use Blender.
• The next Cube World update will be released.

Marble Blast:

- get #1 in MBG
- MBU WRR will happen
- BWRR will happen and all records will be broken after a month
- another MP tournament will happen
- PQ won't be released (free point)

- My youtube channel will have grown a lot and I will be making a lot of money from it, mmmmm yeah, money

-We will convince Aaryl to add custom level support to Fubar

-People will still want to know the whereabouts of PQ

Other
-Jeff and I will politics
-I will learn a programming language other than Java
-Minecraft 1.9 will finally be released
-I will still be lazy
-I will still be single
-We will capture the wild Jeef and force work out of him

Marble Blast:
-PQ won't be released until forever.
-Jeff will still code challenges
-More dead mods
-Fubar will have challenges
-more WR hunt.

Other:
-I'll learn how to program, and create a game. (OH YES)

Marble Blast:
-Remake at least one multiplayer I posed in my reminder topic which has been delayed for so long.
-Make more singleplayer levels.
-Get more WRs.
-Make new kinds of compilations.

Others:
-Might play Smash Bros. more often.
-Refresh my math memory.

- PlatinumQuest will have some sort of release. not a full one, but some kind of teaser will be shown. I think PQ will not release this year in whole, but it could depending on how fast we work.
- MBP will continue to be updated to at least 1.73 even though EOL has been announced.
- I will release an alpha of a new project that I am working on to a select group of people to give me feedback for a future product sometime within Quarter 1 of 2016.
- I will actually become a game developer outside of MBP and actually work on projects that could potentially pay me.
- I will ban at least 10 more MB accounts before 2017 happens.

[MEETUPS]
- I will meet up with HiGuy again IRL <3<3
- I will meet Uil this year IRL somehow even though we are thousands of miles away.
- I will meet Aaron_Y (Marble2) this year somehow.
- I will meet up with Mason (Nihahhat) again in IRL this year.

[POLITICS]
- Bernie or Hillary will be our next POTUS. A republican WILL NOT win the general election.
- The senate will be taken back by democrats, but the house sadly will not.

[PERSONAL STUFF]
- I will be a senior in college by the time by autumn 2016
The following is not appropriate for all audiences. Please refrain if you are < 18 years old.

I will sneak into a 21+ nightclub in three different cities.
Four out of the five people who will attempt to kill me this year will regret it.
I will not get caught for having done something that would otherwise get me fired.
Nine out of the thirteen crimes that I will witness will involve a questionable substance.
Four out of the six credit cards that I find will be repurposed, likely used for cleaning.
I will be involved in a scandal by accident.
At least two people will thank me for being brutally honest with why their marriage is not working.
I'll move once more, though likely twice due to insurance rates.
I will donate to a charity and then find that the money is being used for unlawful acts, and in which case I will have all perpetrators sent to federal prison.
9/11 times I'll answer my phone; though the other 2/11 times it will be because I don't want to talk to my mother.
I will only be late to work an upwards of six times, although all six times will be due to long nights.
18 different people (of up to 5 different ethnicities) will attempt to steal from me. Only 3 of them will succeed.
Out of the 153 people I'll formally meet this year (13 of them will not have names, however), 28 of them will not live to see the next year.
I will help three ladies to their brand new cars, although there will be ulterior motives involved.
I will watch just twelve sunrises and sixteen sunsets this year (although three sunrises will be on the beach, whilst five sunsets will be duplications of other sunsets).
In addition to the 8 crimes I will not be convicted of, I will wrongfully get accused of 7 separate shoplifting attempts.
I will live to see the next year.
I will survive a tsunami.

• I will be graduated from school for college (majoring in food technology)
• I will create 8 VGMs this year
• I will advance to the second national training (selection) for IChO
• I will understand more about Chemistry and Biology
• My VGMs will get more attention
• A new mod will be started again
• I will get 100 in national exam for Physics and Chemistry

• I will survive and complete the practical exams for national exam

MB Related Stuff:
PQ will release (yay)
The wasteland of the dead mod graveyard will continually expand
Jeff will actually release something
People will still ask for new MBP features because a) they can't read or b) suggestions are from Matan
Another MP tournament which will go well, and I'll actually do better than last time (I hope?)
I will actually get some good MBG RTA times.

Education:
I will actually work hard this year, get into the uni I want to then live of ramen noodles and be lazier than ever.
How do I adult?

Politics:
UK Politics will be as awful as ever. (free pointerino)
inb4 Brexit
inb4 Clinton becomes president in an outcome literally no-one wants

Other Stuff:
I will have moved twice, one because of family, other because of uni.
I will finally start donating despite [strike]being poor[/strike] spending way too much money on games.
Computer number-crunching may finally benefit mathematics
I will join a band, and play drums in it, and it will be awesome.
I will stop dragging my feet and actually learn to drive.

This will still be the best way of describing the 2015/2016 transition

MB Stuff
My BWRR world records will be broken in a week when the video comes out. (Go me..)
I'll get more world records in MBFubar.
Then those world records will be broken in a minute or something. (Go me again..)
I will finish MBP Expert levels. (ikr.)
I will finish MBFubar Proffesional levels. (Someone help me with these levels?)

Birthday (January 6th btw)
My birthday gifts :
A Minecraft Realms server for a year?
A new PC (30% chance)
A Virtual Reality thing (I saw one today in a mall, maybe my parents will buy me one? )

Education
Homework homework homework.
Be up earlier than last year to catch up this years new school schedule. (Depending on the bus, still don't know when it will arrive)
Being awkward with new friends (;-; )
Scared of my trip to Japan in April. Because I will not catch up with homework, also will deduct marks from my half-year report for not being in school. (My school sucks to be honest )

2016 will be a stress to me, and I'm worried about it

Marble Blast Personal Predictions:
I will beat the ultimate time on Moving Platform Master Course.
I will reach 80 million rating overall.
I will reach 25 million rating in MBP or finish with total time sub 55:00.
I will reach 12.5 million rating in MBG or finish with total time sub 16:30.
I will reach 6.15 million rating in MBU or finish with total time sub 8:50.
I will beat all the expert times in Fubar and collect all the tokens.
I will have at least 200 videos on my YouTube channel.
I will reach either 50,000 total views or 150 subscribers.
I will begin to build new levels.
I will gain more achievements in Challenges and Multiplayer.
I will get at least 2 more WR's in official levels.

Other MB predictions:
PQ will release at the end of the year
At least 3 new PQ features will be integrated into MBP.
MBF will get at least 40 new levels through its updates.
Quaternion will be completed or in beta.
Various other modifications will be started and fail shortly after.

Personal Life:
I will be admitted into a university with a strong mathematics program.
I will not get senioritis and get straight A's in my last semester of high school.
I will attain my highest mathematics competition scores this year.
I will fit in well at my new university.

I will get at least 1 World Record on an official level (not counting Fubar. I already have like 7).

I will participate in a World Record Rampage for a Marble Blast mod.

I will reach 100 subscribers on my YouTube channel (<--- totally not a link).

I will be the first player to reach level 100 in Marble Blast Fubar.

I will continue to build more levels which gradually get better and better overtime.

I will complete and release my upcoming mini mod (<--- also totally not a link).

I will get a colored username.

Being 16 years old today, over the next year:

• I will mature.
• My Marble Blast skill will increase.

-People will realize Donald Trump will NOT make a good president
-Bernie Sanders will beat Hillary and become next president
-Rand Paul will dominate everyone, make a huge comeback. and win Republican

Social Life

-I will keep all A's
-I will get a girlfriend (Pffft)
-I will become skilled at Unity
-I will get skype (YOUR WELCOME BPX)
-I will work on a Marble Blast Mod, only to cancel it 3 months later.
-Kalle will eat pizzas
-I will eat A pizza...

- I'll release one or two levels, one of which will be my most majestic and grand level to date
(less of a prediction, more of a plan that may or may not fall through)

- I'll keep playing Marble Blast pretty consistently

- I'll basically not participate in the community at all (aside from the previously mentioned custom level plan)

- Junior year at highschool is gonna be tough academically but my social situation will stay pretty good

- The level building scene will reach an exceptionally good point
(I mean it's very good already from what I can tell, I'm just waiting to see it get even better)

- My man Bernie will become president WOOOOOOO

- Professional politicians will finally stop coming on shows and saying nothing but "I think that Donald Trump is getting popular because the American people are fed up and angry, and are ready for something different and weird and new"

- I'll finally get into punk rock somehow

• I'll stop being lazy and release Marble Blast Fubar builds and final release on the time schedule I listed in my announcement post.
• I'll continue to contribute to the Marble Blast Community.
• Someone will be banned from Marble Blast Fubar for finding an exploit and not telling me about it..
• The Fabled Website Profile Update 2.0 will release.

Real Life

• I'll get another promotion and make more than my parents (I'm already 80% there.)
• I will begin the first steps towards home ownership.

2016 predictions? I've put them off... so here are a few:
-- I will become *good* at computer programming in some language.
-- I will still have this hair!
-- I will enjoy something delicious and remember the moment.
-- I will be occasionally active on the forums.
-- I will vote Bernie in for US President.
-- I will have deep regrets and great successes.
-- I will have something to reflect back on that happens during this year.
-- I will make more friends.
-- I will be slightly more confident, perhaps.
-- I will be more creative, but only slightly.
-- I will become slightly more artistic.
-- MBF will maintain at least 20+ people interested in it throughout the year.
-- MBF will release, but Aayrl will still manage to push it back.
-- I will have 1200 posts on these forums.
-- I will experience being independent and thinking on my own, at least for a little while.
-- I will do something incredibly stupid.
-- I will think faster and be able to accomplish more things!
-- The Marble Blast Community will have some crisis. Perhaps caused by a new member?
-- I will spend time on social media... in a way.
-- I will still love cats.
-- I will find someone I like.
-- Someone I like will like me.
-- I will find some activity or hobby that interests me!
-- I will not be the cause of a huge controversy.
-- I will learn to manage my time better, and procrastinate slightly less.

-- I will complete a significant project, perhaps in code.
-- I will establish better daily routine!
-- Marble Blast will suffer a loss of interest, to some degree.
