Very nice level! The end shortcut is very obvious, though. I got 45.95 on my first finish.

I'm particularly impressed by the distorted curve (the spiral, I assume). One small thing: the third gem is not aligned.

As far as the actual playing goes, it's a lot of fun but as all loop levels, it can become very frustrating when the marble does not want to stick on the loop.

Woah! I was surprised how quick you both responded! But yeah, thanks for the kind feedback.
I do agree that levels with loops can get frustrating, especially since the platforms you roll on are pretty thin.
Maybe, I should use half-pipes more.

I'm not sure that the width of the platforms makes much difference, but what annoyed me was that the marble wouldn't make it all the way around the loop.

Techno, get a run up and only activate the SS when you are a bit of the way up the loop.

Great! 30.75 new best. I found the 'end shortcut' to actually waste time, or takes about the same time as doing it regular finish way.

Thanks all.

You mean the spiral or the distorted loop? If you mean the spiral, that's a little secret.
And if you mean the distorted loop near the end after the spiral, that's just a half-pipe rotated, then stretched.

I think you strech by dragging the pink boxes, is that right?

Hey Phil. . . I got a challenge for ya!

Can you make a BANKED curve (like in TMU)?

Oakster, when you stretch a group of polys, the texture stretches with them, so remember to change back the texture scaling.

I am pretty sure how to do the banked/distorted curve thingies. It's just a matter of fiddling with the Make Prism options (I think).

I love your two latest Phil. The concept in Wall Trick is really great, but I think it was a bit too short and the course was a bit plain. I managed UT quite easily- its very high. Platinum should have been like 30 and UT like 22.

Random It Up! was also very nice. Great use of the random powerup, too bad not a single MBP level used it. I love the layout, and it is very replayable and fun, too.
I love how you did the half pipes and curves in it, also

Yeah, I kinda thought the trick was really hard at first.

But thank you! I'll have some more levels coming in with some arches, halfpipes, loops etc.
