marblemaster, when you say CF's technique you mean using scale2zero on the vertices?

No, I mean his technique for making smooth slopes, where you select some of the vertices and then pull them up/down.

You probably shouldn't upload the version with custom textures.

Hi!

I made another cool map: A spiral!
Bonus: It converts!

MAP name: Spiral.map
Difficulty: Advanced
Available for others to use in their levels: Yes
Guide for making the map:
Step 1: Make a 2x4x2 cube
Step 2: Radial Clone it on the X axis so it curves up and you have a sloping 2-texture grid path
Step 3: Offset the Z axis by 0.1 or 0.2
Step 4: Set the Step Angle to something low
Step 5: To make a bigger spiral, drag the circle thing away from the starting point. This starting point will be the outside.
Step 6: When you have a reasonably-sized spiral that goes around a few times, use S2Z to connect the blocks.
Step 7(optional) Unify the textures
You now have a spiral.

Crap, forgot to put in the new random forces + frictionless, and unfortunately I don't have them anymore Somebody said they were gonna reupload the level soon, though.

There seem to be errors that occur in the map that would have been apparent in the “official” DIF , I get 3 malformed brushes (is that just Constructor?), and I also notice that some of the brushes are overlapping, and some brushes have multiple copies of themselves in the same location… why didn’t these show up in MB? (Those soupy artifacts).
It’s just weird, that’s what it is… anyone have an explanation on how these errors didn’t show up in the DIF?

I could possibly upload the level. But you’d have to pester me on MSN or something. (It takes a lot of pestering to get me moving)

Super Beginner-LOL
Anyway good thing you released it Nice
just a few questions
When i load map in constructor there is light omni triggers (I thought MB is not supporting them)
Why u are using 20 Blocks in Moving maze (There could be much less blocks) The same thing is in Friction pie
Everything else seems good

And some members asked about textures
But all new textures is in interiors just put map in interiors and load map in constructor

I never said the MAP was clean, it's all about the final DIF My MAPs are incredibly messy and all over the place, but for the most part people never see them.

It may just be Cstr after all, my MAP is messy but doesn't have malformed brushes or anything.

Guide for making the map:
Do a lot of stuff that takes ~1 hour.
So people don't have to spend an hour making this, I'm posting it for others to use. Please try not to place it in your level without changing it at all! If you do, give me credit for my hour spent =P

Like, I like how you have the misalignment in the tunnel.
